Admission Policy
A. APPLICANTS NOT ENROLLED IN HIGH SCHOOL
Applicants not enrolled in high school are eligible for admission provided that:
- They are at least eighteen (18) years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- They declare an occupational objective or demonstrate though testing or counseling reasonable potential for achieving that objective.
B. APPLICANTS ENROLLED IN HIGH SCHOOL
Applicants enrolled in high school are eligible for admission provided that:
- An agreement authorizing such admission is concluding between the local Board of Education and the Tennesse Technology Center. Such agreement are subject to the approval of the Chancellor or his designee.
- Enrollment is limited to one (1) occupational area.
C. ADMISSION OF FOREIGN NON-IMMIGRANTS
Foreign non-immigrant applicants are eligible for admission if they meet the same conditions required for other applicants as well as the requriements of the U.S. Bureau of Naturalization and Immigration.
Admission Procedures
- Contact the Center to obtain information and an application.
- Complete the application and file it with the Center. Applications are accepted:
- In Person
- By Telephone
- By Web
- By Mail
- By Fax
- Applicant's name is placed on a waiting list by date and tiem of application and is contacted for enrollment when an opening exists and his/her name is next on the list.

* The TTC has the option of charging $2.50 per hour within this range.
