The Pharmacy Technician Program will prepare you to work as a Pharmacy Technician in wholesale or retail pharmacies, home health care, long term care facilities, or in the hospital setting. This program is designed to provide learning experiences and basic competencies that graduates will need for employment.  Students will learn to become skilled in medications, prescription preparation, reconstitution and IV preparation. Clinical training is provided in various work environments.  Upon completion of training, students will be prepared to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examinations (PTCE).
