Technology Foundations programs consists of a number of instructional activities in the fundamental skills a person is normally thought to need to function productively in society. Each full-time student enrolling in a program at the TTCL will undergo an assessment program, and if found to be deficient in reading, writing, mathematics, or study skills, will attend the Technology Foundations program as part of their instructional day.

Students may also enroll in the Technology Foundations program for personal educational development or preparation for taking the General Education Development (GED) test.
